Paul, I'm in the market for a new computer, either a laptop like yours or a stand along desktop unit. I am curious how you like your new laptop, and also if it is capable of totally replacing a desktop. I may decide to keep my old computer as a standby, and just upgrade to a laptop and use it as my mainstay. Please let me know what you think of the D830. Getting an informed opinion from someone who has one is a lot better than looking at the sales info.
