Response to 462 c6 into a 69 fairlane

The 462 had it's own unique C6. If you will scroll down through past posts, you will come to a thread on the subject.

The 69 FAIRLANE came with the 390/428 so fitment wouldn't be that much of an issue. I would say that you are going to have to cut the actual spring towers back (kits available) for easy service. I would also ensure the front unibody structure (aprons, rails and core support) is in excellent condition and maybe consider installing an apron reinforcement kit (along with subframe connectors). That thing is going to be a torque monster in that light chassis and you don't want to twist the car and have the windshield pop out. Very embarassing...

Do you have the OEM or EDELBROCK 3 X 2's?

Oh...Pictures are necessary to remain in good standing here...
