I noticed last month it came up on Ebay again- except only the tripower components. Price reached $2,175 but reserve not met. I would say this thing has had a storied past- supposedly factory race engine, then set-up for marine, now parted out... I also just noticed it looks like the air cleaner snorkel has been cut, and of course the carbs and linkage are not correct.

Those D-Shaped Holley carbs are probably the best choice if anyone else gets a tri power and needs carbs. More options for air cleaners too. The 5 1/8" neck on the original style carbs make it impossible to have 3 single air cleaners. Thy necks just about touch without air cleaners! I just like 3 cleaners better than 1 long oval one.

Man that intake looks gooooood!

Yet another multi-carb option for the MEL, albeit an interesting but expensive modification to make a 2x4. Heavily modified Weiand LM671 blower manifold and 2x4 adaptor plate to mount carburetors minus the blower.

First one went for $449.00. These aren't going for what they used to.
