I also contacted Moon directly with a very short email, which was responded to the next morning. You may add me to your list for one set, of which Moon is already aware of.

Thanks again!!! Those photo's are great!

All the best...
Rick

430 and 462 valve covers are a match so they will fit your 462. Same parts number for 10 years! SO GET ON THE LIST ASAP! we should be around 8 from my count. Someone wants 2 just waiting for their email. I might get 2 as well. Got to act quick!

I got an update from Moon
They had 6 on the list Yesterday, and wanted to take ownership of the "lists"
All those that registered with me should now have got an E.Mail from me to Moon with their names.
If You have registered with me and not got this mail, You should register Your interest to Moon.

Moon will now compile the 2 lists to one, but I'm sure there are some redundancy in the names, so I will update tomorrow where we are.

It sounds like Moon are surprised and exited about all the interest, so there are now no doubt, there will be valve covers !

You do not have to register with me anymore ! Moon is running it now.
Check out why I need valvecovers:

Good luck !

Hey,
Everybody that signed up for Moon Valve covers should now have been contacked by Moon. If not You should call Moon soon as possible.
It will be made 25 sets, while 19 of them are "sold"as pr today.
As said earlier, these covers will soon be sold out, but a few (5-6) is still obtainable.
Casting is in the progress of starting, and they should be ready to ship in 3-4 weeks.
Enjoy Your new Valvecovers.

Thanks for helping me ( buying Valvecovers) so I could get Moon Valve covers on my 60 Thunderbird !

How exactly did they contact you? I have not had an email since I asked a question last week and signed up for 2 sets. Just want to make sure they did not send an email to everyone stating that they started production...because I did not! Let me know then I can bother them if I did not get the email. Thanks Trond

Since I initiated this, I called Moon to ask what the status was, so I could update this thread.
If You have stated that You want a pair or two to Moon You should be fine.
Quite a few contacted me, and I forwarded those to Moon, and Moon should have contacted those for confirmation.

No-one have been asked to pay their covers yet.
