I did some checking around and Brown's Automotive in Billings, Montana was recommended for a tranny rebuild. I talked to Rex yesterday and he was familiar with the 1959 vintage Lincoln transmissions. Better yet, they have an 82 year old expert on call to come in for vintage tranny rebuilds. I got the call back this morning and yes, they'll take the job. I've got the tranny strapped in the back of my F-150 and ready for a trip to Billings in the morning.
