With the end in sight for the completion of the '59 Colony Park wagon (viewtopic.php?f=84&t=1331), it is now time to send the Parklane! :D
Loading up.

The Parklane is being picked up at the same time as my '59 Country Squire wagon (http://forum.love-fords.org/garage_vehi ... =14#bottom) which is on its way to the Concours d'Elegance of America (formally Meadowbrook). You can see that the back of the wagon is loaded with parts, so is the trunk of the Parklane. All for the restoration. Could there be a complete restored Tri-Power set up in there, and lots of NOS parts? ;)

Hello Angelo,

Thank you for the compliment! I also have a 1962 Buehler Turbocraft http://www.marineserviceunlimited.com/album57 that should be completed in between the two cars. So many cars to save, ... so little time.... Luckily I'll keep you guys entertained for quite a while... ;)

Fortunately that is my restorers shop, not sure of the size. I'll have to get on him about the dirt on the floor. It probably came from the underside of the Parklane.
My warehouse is 10,000 sq. ft.. Looks like a showroom now that the Parklane is gone.

Congrats Rick. Let's see photos from the show. A real beauty it is.

Because this car is in a little rougher shape than the Colony Park. We decided to get some parts cars to help the restoration go faster, and to cut down on the need for salvage yards whose performance has been less than spectacular.
Here's the first one we purchased today...the plus is that it came with a rebuilt motor & transmission already. It will be interesting to see what pistons are in it.

Even though I don't smoke, and can't use this for my restoration I thought it was pretty cool.
