Week 6/4/12
Thanks guys. Yes, I have dreams of the first cruise.
We skipped a week of stuff that was not photo worthy. As you can imagine there are tons of little things that are going on besides what's documented in these photos.

Definitely!! Bolts, nuts, clips, electric connections, rubber, weatherstripping, adjustments and all the gozillion little things that eat your time and drive you crazy. Great great restoration. What are the holes for at the sides? Emblems, trim or is it for a woody panel?

Hey Theo you must be home from the States. Welcome back!
The holes are for the trim surrounding the woodgrain.
Some more photos...

Yes it's 5 a.m. and I'm still fighting the jet lag. Hopefully I will catch some sleep. After 22 years of absence I had a great time in Chicago IL. All 18 days were 91° in the shade and about 77° in the night. It was perfect for the 3 day Blues Fest and all other activities. I was surprised to find such a clean and safe city. No tags, no bad boys no nothing in wide spans of the city. The bad guys are successfully kept out. 57 shot wounded and 10 dead within one single week end is what's up in some other areas. But those are fortunately far away and usually out of your way anyway.

What is the before and after thing? Did they polish the original tail light lenses to a high luster or did you exchange the original ones with repros?

Glad you had a good time! 91 though is a lot hotter than I would enjoy. I like the night time temperature though. ;)

Where did you het the weather stripping for the doors? Do you have any of those roof rails to sell?
