More progress :D
Hi Rick,

Well I've accomplished my goal of the day, getting the Merc in some
stealthy black epoxy sealer! Tomorrow I'll seal up all the seams while the
epoxy is still open, and Monday I'll start on the bodywork. Here are a few
shots for you.

Thank you for the compliments! Your work is coming along well also I see. Perhaps between the two of us we can turn out some pretty impresive cars. As for sending your Lincolns. I'm sure my restorer wouldn't mind, as long as you send them some funds also. ;)
I'm really getting excited on how the car is turning out, and I can't wait to take my first cruise in it. And I'm also putting some thought into which vehicle will be next....

All the best...
Rick

You know, that is not out of the question. I've been perusing the web looking for vintage power boats. Wooden ones are always at the top of my list. But I've come to the conclusion that my current funds need not be diverted at this time. I already have this cool set-up for the waterway's around the ol' farmhouse.

You bet. That's a cool set up indeed. We used to enjoy it a lot around our water side (No Paul, it's not salt water ,))
KLick the photos to expand them.

A truly impressive resto. A frame off of this nature essentially makes the car better than brand new, since the build detail is extremely high. A great thread.
MEL Marine division... and if you thought MEL car parts were scarce....
