Rick will sure get you the correct color code. I had good experience w. Mercedes Benz "Rauchsilber Metallic" from 1987 which is close.

Some more progress...
The sills when purchased don't have the bead around the edges like the originals. So what does a guy do? Get'er done.

I am going to try weekly updates now that the car is coming to completion.
In this photo I had just purchased an NOS Rear View mirror that is styled perfectly for the Mercury. I am debating whether to use it for this car or the Parklane.

Beautiful. I clicked the photo of the dash board and one more time for a magnified view. Wow!! Really like the handwriting style lettering where it says defrost etc. The vertical lay out of the radio is nice too. Make sure to stuff in fresh tubes. Let me know if you need anything special on tubes. I have a buddy who has literally tons of historic high quality tubes.

Thanks Theo, I'll keep you in mind if I need tubes. I sure have enough radios that use them.
This week glass & interior trim!

WOW! Looking great, I bet your itching to go for a cruise.

The front grill sets the front up quite well.

Cheers Angelo
