Baker Lincoln in Connecticut. I talked to the tech help line about 430 pistons, and the guy was rude, and totally unresponsive. He would not answer whether the pistons he had were stepped or flat.

Just a piece of info.

I had the same experience with them. I bought a water control valve for my 68 Continental (462) They sent me one for a 68 Mark III. When I called to return it they refunded my money OK but told me they couldn't get one for a 68 Continental. I got the definite impression they weren't interested in talking to me on the phone. Good news, I found one for a third of the cost on E-bay from an outfit in Tampa.

You're talking about Baker's Auto, correct? If so, I'm surprised. I've never had any problem with them. Most members of a forum dedicated to Lincolns and Continentals have had the same experience. Have you tried Lincoln Land in Florida?
