Introducing myself

Feel free to introduce yourself. No obligation off course, but a nice way to get known to you a little. It's allways good to know your first name. Jeff or John sounds better than, "hey linc58prm2_1......"

Introducing myself

Post by cyco_myco1 » Tue 7. Jun 2011, 11:52

Hello everyone. The girlfriend just picked up a 61 Continental. She wanted her own project and this one caught her eye. It hasn't ran in a few years according to the previous owner (it just stopped running one day) and that's the first thing she wants to fix. Any tips would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance. Mike and Sara.

Congratulations on the purchase. Where to begin? If your not familiar with mechanical systems, I'd take it to a trusted mechanic to have them give it a once over.

I am pretty familiar with FE engines and SBFs. The car is actually at a mechanic/friend's house right now and he is willing to help.

Cool. Good luck, and I hope it's something simple. Don't forget to post pictures!

Hey man, I'm new here too. Just picked up a 62 about a month ago, and it's been a lot of fun so far. Not as fast of a project as I'd like, but all in due time I guess. Do you have pics of the Lincoln?
