Feel free to introduce yourself. No obligation off course, but a nice way to get known to you a little. It's allways good to know your first name. Jeff or John sounds better than, "hey linc58prm2_1......"

Hello Bob,
Do you have a factory MEL car? If not that will make three of us I know of. Mine is slowly going into a pickup truck.

Hi Chris

No.It's a pullout of a Lincoln.430 with C6.

Keep forgetting to ask guy we got it from if it is from '59-60 square lincoln(like square t birds) or Kennedy Lincoln.

Now I knew a guy in San Diego that had two turnpike cruiser Mercuries. They probably or certainly had MEL engine in them.Never looked under the hood.Just talked to the guy.

Our engine and trans are going right from present owner to open storage in desert. Is a little frustrating.
Especially since is a 'no turn' engine.Be awhile before we find out if it is a little thing or a big thing. That is the way we have to do it though.

Have a nice day

Bob
