It was time to make a decision whether to rebuild my 430 or re-power with a 390. With what I want to do with the car, the later makes better sense. My builder says the engine is standard bore, with minor rust pitting in 2 of the cylinder and feels .020" over would clean it up. He was impressed with the shape of the crank and cam. This of course will come with manifolds, power steering pump and possible bell housing and flywheel.
