Paid for.... Chico said they will go out next week. I should get mine within a day of shipment since I'm nearby.
Thanks to all involved for getting these done.
All the best....

Trond, thanks so much for letting us know... mine are paid too and on their way. The guy at mooneyes told me they are still getting calls, so I guess they will start another list. MAN THESE COVERS ARE GORGEOUS!!!

Re: MEL Moon Polished finned Valvecovers
Who at Mooneyes have you guys been working with? I thought I was on the list for these but didn't get any email with instructions on how to pay or pics.
-Edit: Nevermind. Just got an email from Chico. I guess his emails have been getting caught in my spam trap.

Just spoke to Chico, and there is a delay. Some pitting in the first batch that was rejected. They should start shipping next Monday if all goes well. The concern for quality is appreciated!

But, you can pick the pitted ones up for $95 less! If you wanted a second set to beat around in till the project is done! I already have mine so its too late for me...good luck! They look awesome!

Re: MEL Moon Polished finned Valvecovers
Some photos mocked up on my spare 462. I posted the same photos on the lincoln forum. Everything fits good from what I can see. I only ran the screws in enough to hold the covers on but the thick covers clear the intake. The closest part is where the linkage bolts to the intake but it still fits!

Re: MEL Moon Polished finned Valvecovers
35 pairs were made to date. They are still taking orders but not enough for a second round yet so if you are interested and not in a hurry..sign up with Moon and Chico will let you know when they are ready again to make more.
POST PHOTOS OF YOUR MOON VALVE COVERS! We want to see them.
