New 61-68 MEL Bell Housing / Scatter Shield

Post by Chris430 » Wed 28. Dec 2016, 21:17

The first step to move the MEL engine aftermarket support forward should be a manual bell housing. Once a bell or scatter sheild is produced these engines would become versital and desirable for a 4, 5 or 6 speed project vehicle. McCloud makes a universal hydraulic slave cylinder to adapt to the COM bell but a bolt on bell housing would make it easier and less expensive over all. With the 462 having the modified FE pattern it would be a simple matter of providing a few popular transmission patterns to the back of the bell.

Thoughts?,
Chris
