Post by KULTULZ » Wed 8. Apr 2009, 23:43

SUMMIT has just recently reintroduced a carburetor that was origionally designed by HOLLEY-

... after the AUTOLITE 4100 and was deleted some time ago (The AUTOLITE 4100 was designed by HOLLEY for FOMOCO for the 1957 production run). Here is a TECH ARTICLE- http://www.fordmuscle.com/forums/induct ... -test.html

The carb features all of the positives of the 4100 along with the easy tuning features of the HOLLEY 4150/4160.

UPDATE-

It seems SUMMIT bought the rights from HOLLEY and is manufacturing this carb in CHINA. There have been reported problems. If one wants one, the origional 4010/4011 may still be available from HOLLEY REMAN.

Good to know Gary. Carb problems can be very annoying. It causes you a lot of a guesswork. Thanx for the update.
Best regards
