Tony Rice: Church Street Blues

Here's one of my favourite songs and a great interpretation by Tony Rice. I realized that engines, cars and players often come in a pack. I wonder if there are any more pickers in the house?

I'm no Tony Rice... Nor am I even close to a Billy Gibbons (my "guitar hero"), but I dabble in blues guitar. Just a great way to relax. I have a Fender Stratocaster in black and a Gibson SG VooDoo.

Yes, music is great way to relax and have fun. Seems we have a similar taste regarding pickers. Billy G. is one of my all time favourites too. Like you I like to play Blues too. I have a couple of guitars. As for the SG, I once had a 62 Les Paul all original with sideways vibrola and original PAF pick ups and case. It was the mother model of the SG. That was just shortly before Les Paul sued Gibson not to use his name on this model. So they took off the Les Paul insignia and simply named it SG. Here's my guitar that I traded in against a Martin G 18 GE, money and an amp. It had such a fantastic tone and a never ending sustain. It's the model that Angus Young would play on sundays if he gad one.

Les Paul. That's how this guitar was called before they had to rename it to SG Model

Well, it is said so. But in reality it can more than once all go wrong this way. But then at least the Blues is real.
