PBB-7003-F Questions

Good afternoon,
I have an LX transmission from what seems to be a 59 Lincoln 430. How does this transmission compare to a C6? If used in place of an FE C-O-M will the gear selector read correctly or be a little off as a C6 would be? If this is a strongest pre-66 automatic transmission, I'll keep it around.
Thanks

There is no comparison to a C 6. This is a different unit all together.
BTW ...
The PBB is the large case unit. and has two pumps front and rear, This allows the car to be push started.

I remember those in old GMs also.

Is there an aftermarket valve body for the LX that allows a first gear take off in drive and a manual shift?

Not that I know of .... But you can certainly make that modification if you want to ..
This is a twin range unit it can start in first or second .......

Looks like the gear selector is the same throw as the COM. I didn't find any comments to my strength comparisson question vs a C6 but I didn't find anything negative about the Twin Range either. Doesn't look like a bad transmission. Thanks for your help.
