Sorry Theo, you can edit as you like, on the 1960 Engine, the connecting rod casting # is COME.

No that's correct rod casting number on a 1959....COME is a rod casting on a 1960 engine.

I will be a fairly endless source of casting numbers... I have a total of five engines. Two were barn motors, one of which was hopelessly seized, since they left the plugs out and the mice got in. The second barn motor is the 1959, which came loose after a day with brake fluid poured in the bores. I have it completely torn down now.

Two others were the 1960 (late i think) that were rebuilt with Egge pistons, flattops, one of which is the rebuild candidate.
then finally, there is the one in the boat, which I haven't even touched yet. ..It is a 1965 engine, at least the boat is.

Given that marine parts and 430 parts were hard to find, I bought all these engines for parts... especially manifolds, reverse grind cams, opposite turning distributor gears, etc.

Ditto.
I will take a closer look on the data tomorrow. Just came in from a gig. It's 4 in the morning.
Seems they skipped the align honing. Good to see a cam chart. I might feed my old dyno software with the cam data.
Thanks for sharing this valuable info.

Rick I'm a bit confused. The above photos of the pistons, are they your original used ones that were sitting in your engine or are they NOS pistons that you're going to use?
As far as I got it you are shopping for custom made pistons. It's not them right?

Theo,
Since ChrisCraft was posting photo's his original pistons I thought I would do the same from every angle to show part numbers, etc. since they do not look alike. And yes, we are shopping for custom made pistons.

All the best...
Rick
