Tom has assembled all of the manuals you see for $10.00 on CD ... I have some paper copies, but they are sometimes repro's that are not very good, so if you get this CD it will cover most of what you need.

purchased the discs,so chris craft changed the left and right bank id on the ford motor to chevy odd n even,still going through this disc tring to find the 430 not the 431 water routing is different, when you sent me the valve adjusting specs i went with ford 1234 on one side 5678 on the other, i wont let this motor whip me ,will put it back n boat spin it over ,watch the compression ,fire it that way,thank for the info on the discs,will keep lookin through them to find the info on the 1960 cc continental, to my knowledge they only made about 100 of these, this one has the t tops, cool wood boat

Yes, the 430 and the 431 were the same motor with different cooling system... They added a second pump on the 431 because they were getting occasional cooling problems with the 430 set up on larger boats... other than that the engine specs should be the same

Your continental with a big block would be a rare bird... probably only about 20 of them I would say.
