Stroked 430 in 1939 Ford Coupe

Sights on early 60s build (NO PLEATED RUNNING BOARDS!) on this 39 Ford
Coupe. Running 1959 Lincoln 430, that was a race boat engine that the
owner had rebuilt and then lost interest, probably because it weighs
730 lbs. Once we got into the mill, it was a very fresh rebuild, in
fact we believe it had been properly put away and sold. It used to run Algon alc.
injection. its standard bore with jahns 11:1 pistons, and the crank has
been offset ground no clue how much. Its got a complete isky valve
train with a reground isky cam that started life as a 555 isky, its
rowdy. The heads have been ported even though they have caverns already
for ports, and the induction is an early no script edelbrock 6x2 we
also scored a Joe Hunt magneto for it. Its backed by a FE bell and a
toploader 4sp with of course a hurst competition shifter and sideways
suntach, with a 9 inch out back with just enough gear (4:11). Headers
are fender well because we had to move the engine back so much. Anyway
we are getting closer, to firing it up.
Thanks for reading.
