I have 1959 430 and a 1965 F250. I have the mounting and the drive train worked out. The od gear will put me 1900 RPM at 70 MPH. The carb will be a Q-Jet or a spread bore Holley for max miles per gallon when running in od. Not concerned with getting it to put out the advertised 350 hp I would however like to have over 500+ lbs of torque at the flywheel. Any members have a true 430 pulling these numbers down low in a daily driver?
EDIT: This is a daily driver.
