MEL 430 Dyno Results w. Desk Top Dyno 2000

Post by Theo » Thu 4. Feb 2010, 15:27

Hi, I have this old Dyno 2000 on my desk top. I played with a few MEL 430 numbers such as camshaft specs. provided by Rick "Shelby#18" and printed out these results.
Note that I used FE valve diameters as I don't have the MEL diameters at this time. of course this is just an inaccurate desk top tool, but it's pretty close in some instances and quite some fun. I haven't followed the software's development the last ten years. Man, it's like I bought it yesterday. Time just keeps on slipping.

My 58 430 has 2.19 intakes and 1.88 exhaust valves.
I am looking for a set of 58 to 60 heads for 2.25 intakes I have laying around. TJR
