Sure, I would entirely appreciate to meet you in person. This City has become very international. There are lots of huge areas and hot spots in town where you can safely go out all night long. It has become Germany's No_1 City to go for if not in the entire EU. The backside is that the rents have tripled in the last few years. Many foreigners mainly from Scandinavia buy real estate just to make sure to have a place to stay during their holidays.
Anyway, make sure to bring the family with you. They will love it, theres much to see and to enjoy. Avoid the winter season, it's rough. Say hello to yours.
