Re: 430 MEL in Grist Bros '41 Willys Coupe

Thanks Theo and will post the MEL site info over at the H.A.M.B. The Grist Bros Willy coupe was sold by Floyd and Ralph Grist way back in 1964 ... for $600 less engine and transmission. We lost touch with the car for over 45 years. The car wound up in Mississippi drag racing local tracks and then th...

Yes, you may use the pics. Is it okay for me to post a link to the restoration project (it is on a forum site called H.A.M.B.)

Re: 430 MEL in Grist Bros '41 Willys Coupe

Not a problem Theo. Thanks for your work administering this site. It already has a lot of good information and has great potential to grow and get better. Keep up the great work. I honestly do not know that much about the MEL, but would like to learn more. I was 13, back in 1964, when my dad and unc...

Re: 430 MEL in Grist Bros '41 Willys Coupe

I noticed the Hilborn injector pics posted by Chris Craft Crazy on the aftermarket induction thread are the same as were used on the Grist Bros MEL (pic above). I imagine a set of those would be a rare find indeed. I'm new to the forum/thread and am enjoying the posts.
