1958 Lincoln Continental chassis number stamp location

Gentleman, I haven't seen any traces for number stamping at the top of the frame in the right side (near the exhaust manifold area). I guess this applied to chassis/body cars only (my 1958 Ford Fairlane) has its stamp in that exact location as per the photo below: http://www.automotivetimelines.com/...
