Re: Fuel Pump Cam to Timing Cover Interference

Just scrapped a stock 58 pump with a broken flange. I did keep the rear cover bolts.
Thanks for posting.

Found A Pair Of 59 430 Marine Engines, Question On Cooling

I found a pair of Chris-Craft 430s. I am questioning the cooling system route. Were the water dividers clocked to run the coolant to the back of the block and forward to the front of the head and back through the rear of the intake? 00m0m_fYlG1DQl8bo_1200x900.jpg 00p0p_6i87qEUU1eU_1200x900.jpg 00x0x...

Re: 65-68 MEL Distributors Self Oiling?

Does anyone not understand what I am asking?

Apparently no one knows if a 65-68 distributor has the trap door. As soon as I locate a photo or a distributor I will post.

Re: Serpentine Kit

I know it probably doesn't exist, at least I have never found it, but does anyone make a serpentine kit to dress up a 430 MEL? I'm building a 1963 hot rod lincoln and I would love to make some visual enhancements in the engine compartment. Thanks, Andy FE crank spacer fits on a 430 crankshaft. If y...

The part number on that last photo of the pistons is a 1961 number.
The same piston was used in 1960, it's casting is EDJ - B9LE-6110-A. Is this the same piston design used in 62?

Cylinder Head Exhaust Ear Repair Success Rate?

Judging by what I have in front of me and what I have seen on a couple of other Lincolns it is a combination of a bad exhaust manifold design, double gasketing and over tighting. With the heads exhaust ports are kind of thin closest to the valve cover rail I am curious on the success rate of repairs...
