Re: tri-power

Is there a difference between the 430 and 462 that would prohibit the the intake manifold exchange? Uncle Scooby over at the hamb has a 6x2 set up for a 430. He also has a rotating assembly with some Jahn's 12.5:1

Re: tri-power

No I did not get it. The WW's are gone and the price is still the same, firm. I gleaned the 430 and 462 MEL intakes are different and do not interchange without intensive fab. I may be getting a '64 Continental missing its drive train, I will keep you posted

Re: MEL aluminum Valley cover project proposal

If you need a stock vally pan for the later models I can pull the one off of my 66 462. The project is on the back burner for another season so the engine sits in the garage lonely.

I came across and E-brock 3x2 with 2 carbs on it. The carbs look like Autolite 2100's. What's this worth? Can I use rochester 2g's if I can't find a 3rd carb. Are there supposed to be phenolic spacers? I have done the 2x4 game and would love to try the 3x2 game. Can I hear from some of the MEL exper...

intro thread

Hi! I'm Chucklz and I'm an addict. It's been 16 hours since my last parts forage; do phone calls count, if so its been 2 hours since my last parts forage. It started out easy enough, you know, just change the stock rims for something else to make the car look better, maybe lower it just a hair; well...
