Me and my engine are located in a small country in the middle of Europe, in Austria.
I bought the whole kit a few years ago from ebay. The seller was the
Lincoln-Mercury old parts store.

I´ve made another short clip of it running on a cold winter day.
The air cleaner is once again not on top of the engine, but can be seen.

I haven´t posted any good pics of the special aluminum air cleaner yet, so here are some, and some other of the whole engine including the air cleaner at an earlier stage during the rebuild process. Today, I finally started up the engine for the first time in years. It only ran for a few seconds, but damn, it has a really loud and brutal sound! No wonder, it has absolutley no exhaust system on it except for the manifolds. I also havent bought a radiator and cooling fan for it yet, so I cant let...

Today I assembled the valley pan, ignition distributor, timing chain cover with fuel pump pushrod, flywheel, valve covers and the Tri Power system. Finally it looks like an engine!

After searching for a good camshaft for a long time, i´ve finally found a good one! The cam is Falcon Performance #CM-184, a new reproduction of a stock cam, at least they say so. I couldn´t measure its duration, but i measured the valve lift at about 0.440", so its probably a reproduction of the ea...

Unfortunately I cant go on with my rebuild for now because I just wasnt able to find a good camshaft for my engine yet. As my engine is an early one, the correct cam for it is part # EDJ-6250-A, its specs are 276°/276° duration, 54° overlap and 0.441"/0.441" lift. But, as mentioned above, I just can...
