If anyone has picts of the plenum mod work they could post up or links to a photo album etc.. it would be very appreciated. The link I have located leaves a little to be desired IMO. A good look at the finished product would be priceless. TIA

Design sort of from Current Aftermarket Intakes like this

LOL except this pictured SBF Manifold by Proffesional Products looks more like a Port-O-Sonics' or Holley Street Dominators' child. There seems to be a lot of getting a shot right to the runner w/o messing with a plenum and a 90-degree wall

I always wondered why they don't extend the two divider walls that divide the center two cylinders on each side....to try to equalize runner length...

This is kind of cool---Runner length is determined by the length of the inner wall so in an attempt to get equal runner lengths out of a single plane they have the rather large convex curved sections in the plenum between Cyls #2 and #3 and #6 and #7. To get the runner length measure from the ports head flange face with a tape in #2 and out #3 and divide by two. Supposedly the length of the port measured at the outer wall is not significant.
Interesting to compare the lengths for equal runners and the tricks the mfgs use to get em equal on single planes. The squiggled center ports on Port O Sonics takes the concept even further.
