A member here sent me a Dist and I am trying to help ( sent him an E-mail ) He sent me a Vac Adv Dist , and a Non Vac adv Dual point plate , well they of course dont mesh , Ive ran into a few Dual point Vac adv plates over the years , AND , I assume that is what he wants / needs , anyone got one? If I am wrong will post a retraction till then, I need one and , Rod I also sent you a E-mail about your Dists , so check your mail , thanks Faron

I'm not aware of any repros, and AFAIK only the boss302 came with them.
I wish someone would repop them....though it can't be hard to mod a single point plate if someone had one to compare (and hopefully they would post the plans on the net!!)

Those plates and bearings are very hard to find. They came in Boss 302, Boss 429, Boss 351, and 70 428 CJ. The shaft/breaker cam is different also. $300 or more for the plate and bearing is not out of line. Mike Ulrey was working on reproducing these parts before fate unfortunately intervened.

I have a couple of Ford vacuum advance dual point distributors that I'd be willing to sell. I wouldn't want to piece them out, though. They're both 429s. One has a "D0OF" number on it but apparently has an incorrect vacuum advance unit on it. It's used, but I guess still useable. The second one is an NOS distributor with a "D3VE" number on it, but it has a Ford dual point conversion installed. Let me know if you're interested.
