Does anyone know what carb Roger Arens runs? My motor will be very similar to his, except I have the 4150 Victor. Currently have a Biggs HP 950 (actually flowed), Pro Systems will send me a 1040 main body for this carb, will this be almost as good as a 1050 dominator?? The carb CFM calculators give me a figure of 1100 - 1150 CFM demand. 489 Shift points of 8000RPM.

At one time a 1050 Dominator

If my memory isn't failing too badly, I remember selling Roger a Hardcore Racing-built 1050 Dominator about eight years ago. After that, he mentioned that it was working well for him, but that has been a while, and I'm sure lots of things have been changed since then. It would be really something if that same carb was on his engine!

Step up to the Dominator...

the Dominator offers more advantages over the 4150 style especially with your combination. 1050 cfm will probably be enough for your combination. IMO you'll make more power with the Dominator style that flows 1050 than a 4150 style that flows 1050.
