Response to Gear Vendor question!

If it is a gear vendors unit it'll have one of their tags riveted on it. Also, as previously mentioned, it can be costly to swap adapter plates. There are also electronics that control the unit (tells it when to shift). They are pricey as well however, keep an eye on ebay. Adapters and electronics are on there quite a bit. There was a guy selling new adapters on ebay a while back but I don't know if he is still around.

Anyway, if it's in good shape, $150 is a sweet deal if it includes the electronics and adapter. It it's just the overdrive unit, it's still a fair price assuming it's in good shape.
