I talked to Stan about the issues with the heads. I had no idea that he received a set of heads with a crack in them. I told him that I will refund his money and freight charges. I guess this got missed by someone in the shop. Other than the little crack the heads are very nice, though. I will have to see if it can be fixed becuase they are too nice other wise to get rid of.
This is the problem with some of these 40 year old parts but should have been caught. I let him know that I will take care of him if he needs some other parts in the future. The first set was a nice set but milled a little and I will be able to use them on a nice engine build just not what Stan was looking for. I will have to make sure these old parts get looked at a little beter in the future. At least he is dealing with people that make it right in the end.
