look on ebay and find a performer 390 intake. for the use u stated you don't need a performer rpm. like rory said buy a set of headers and do a good exaust system. the carb you mentioned is right,now get your dist. recurved i would try these mods first . if you are still in need of power then after these mods i would try a different camshaft. the bolt on stuff won't be that expenseive.i think you'll be happily surprized with this set up......try it you'll like it....gopher
