ALL are the same width, wgns, rancheros and s-d's use the big axle bearings (a must if you want to run 31 splines). Also they use bigger brakes and repro drums are available for both size drums now. 64-66 271hp mustangs use the same width but, w/smaller brakes and axle tubes.
