They won't even write a policy in Texas if the car sees track time. Can't use waivers thanks to the state insurance board. I never saw a policy that covered any car on a track anywhere. Once you hit the gate, you are "self insured". Now as a member of a sanctioning body like IHRA, you do get some covered medical. But you mash up your $50K special hot rod, you are SOL. That's racin'. The little fender-bender the wife had week before last when the Mustang broke a strut rod and she rubbed the wall set us back about $650.
