What I like to do in this situation is all of the above , plus set it up on a test stand and Fire her up. After setting that long a couple of hours running where you can really observe everything pays off and can save a lot of grief. Block that engine up ,dummy up a radiator , wire it up and fire it up--- it pays in the end.
