Come on now, Sure DuraLube "might" help some engines, however the bottom line is.... if your engine is toast, well rebuild it or replace it. Now for the part about mechanics say... do not switch to synthetic oils after running regular oil is old school thinking and has no basis if fact. With todays syn oils they can be used in engines that have many miles on them IF the have been cared for. I have switched many cars and trucks to synthetic oils with no harmful effects. And those high mileage oils, they just swell your seals so they will not leak.
