For a spark plug to be popped out, as you explained, it would of damaged the head...maybe stripped the threads, cracked the head, something. Unless somebody simply didn't get the plug in tight to begin with, then it could do what you describe without damage to the head. And, where would the "oil all over the interior of the block" of come from? (Surely you meant the outside of the block) From the spark plug hole? Not likely without major engine or head damage. If you simply replaced the plug and wire and it ran fine, then somebody didn't have the plug in tight, because that indicates no damage to the head. By the way, it's normal to have very high pressures under the spark plug...that's the combustion chamber, and pressures in the several hundreds of psi are normal. I don't think zMAX did that to your engine. |
