Hadn't been here in awhile, but after looking at other threads I'm glad I'm not the only one that's unhappy.

I've had several tell me that some of the ads lock up their laptops and they have to reboot. I haven't had any nude ads yet (like some people say they have on their own sites), yet there's been quite a few pretty tasteless ones. I have quite a few young and teenage kids looking at my softball site looking for tournaments, and I hate them seeing that. One in particular that I remember was an ad in the last post of threads that advertised an Adult gay male site.
When these first started getting bad a couple months ago, I read here that once a pop-up or "page takeover" ad came up once, it wouldn't come up again that day unless that person cleared their cookies. Well now that's not even true, I have it happen about 3 or 4 times a day. There's also ads that just take you straight to their website, and you have to hit the browser back button twice REALLY FAST to get it to go back to the forum.
I'm not trying to be a baby or be threatening, but if this same pattern continues I too will start looking for another provider. I don't have a problem with any ads except the adult themed ads and the stuff that takes over the whole screen. That's just too much.
