Response to More variations, southern style

Here (as published in Classic Yacht Magazine) is THE official Commander Salute to Dick Avery, designer of all the Commander models except the first 38, photo taken at the Chris Craft Commander Rendezvous, Huron Ohio, 2008. Hoisting a glass in front of a Commander banner, in front of 52 boats in the harbor, not much better than THIS !

Photos below (some never published before) show a series of photos of the group right before the photo above was snapped, and then a series of others, one right after another. If you look closely, you can see a little deviation between one photo and another, as people walk into the frame and turn their head, etc. This is a fun sequence if you see someone you know! happy.gif

This one below is the image appearing in Classic Yacht.

The remainder of the photos were taken one after another to assure we got a good one. I can't remember who took them, but someone was nice enough to take my camera and take these. If anyone can remember who it was, please let me know!

This was a good time! We're doing it again in 2009 too, so stay tuned to The Forum here for all the details, and maybe we'll see you on August 21-23 right here at Huron, Ohio, at the yacht club and boat basin!

regards, Paul
