Response to A Very Distant Cousin

Chris
This is an early 73-78 25 Catalina. CC Made these following the 1972 Commanders. They made about 3000 from 73-86. The inside layout was just about the same. I had a 1978 from 1992-2005. Mine was a late 78, CC made some minor changes in mid 78, notice the side vents on mine versus the deck mounted vents, creature comfort modernization changes in the cabin. Squared off the side by the helm station and made the gunnels flat versus rounded on the early ones. I had a friend who had an early 78 and I didn't believe him till I saw the year markings that his was a 78.
CC also made a 26 Sport Fisherman Catalina in the later years it came wit single or twin engines.
CC made a 28 Catalina with single or twin engines and a 29 Catalina FB Express with twin engines esentially same as 28 but with FB.
