CC made some great boats and the listing is one that is very different then the 36. It is 38 ft and a lot wider, based on the Uniflite Hull. The interior is very different as well, reflecting a generous use of wood and had much, much, more upgrades in the appointments.
I am not sure if one can get more pleasure from boating on the 38 verses the 36, one would have a very different feel in one verses the other. But more fun?
The 38 is typically diesel powered, as it exceeds the optimal weight for a gas boat; add about $40k. Even the 36 could stand bigger, newer gas engines or diesels, with the wave crushing weight on a short water line.
I wonder if anyone has re-powered a 36 with the 8.1's?
