Response to 1980's Commanders

Paul, This is my first attempt at pic downloading. Here is my 1985/86 360 SF commander. It was not a great camera, sorry about the photo quality. The last photo is what our Lake Lanier looks like at 21.5' below full pool this past winter. This 38000 acre impoundment is 50 miles north of Atlanta, Ga and we have had severe drought, mismanagement of water resources, and a water war between Georgia, Florida, and Alabama to bring us to this point. Right now the lake is 13' down and probably will not improve this summer. It is having a severe economic impact in this area. This lake is the most heavily visited lake of all the Corps of Engineer managed lakes in the nation. We need serious rain here! I am debating on moving my boat to the coast, where sun and salt will take its toll on the boat.

Greg
