Teeth

I forgot many CC engines are powered from the snout. If you know the number of teeth on the ring gear, you can divide that into 360 to get the number of degrees per tooth, and work from there. On any engine, the EXACT location of TDC is critical for accurate timing. This can be determined thru the #1 spark plug hole.
