Galley and winters

Response to Re: Running ?

I did not move the galley down; it was already done. From what I could tell that was the original location, although I did see the pics of that other 1973 Sports Sedan which says otherwise. Hhhmmm...

That is, in fact, a generator aft of the engines. It does not run, and I have not really tried (first things first, lol). It does crank, but makes a knock. I do have a set of spark plugs for it to replace the rusty ones that are currently in it. It does have a spark.

I picked up this boat in the early spring, so I have not had to deal with winter storage yet. I believe that there is a facility a mile or two down the river that has lifts and winter storage. I am not, however, a skilled enough pilot to get it there on the one engine (getting it into the marina was quite a trick - I had a skilled pilot do it and it was really the most amazing feat of maneuvering I've ever seen). It is currently in a transient slip, and I don't think they have a lift. Don't quote me on that though. It is in Elizabeth Park Marina in Trenton, MI if you wanted to research that.

If anyone is interested in purchasing this boat, please call me at (734) 276-2021. I'd like to get it off my hands sooner rather than later, since it is obviously very expensive keeping it in a transient slip!

Eric
