Has anyone heard anything about a adapter that allows the use of a 429/460 intake manifold on MEL engines?

Yes I have heard and called about them. They are made by a shop on CA and I have even had the guy measure them out with a carb on it. Came to 7" with carb above the flat part of block closest to the firewall. Basically, 7" in height above the top of the block. Should work if you have a Continental and want to keep it all under the hood. I just measured that height and laid a piece a wood across where the hood would stop and it seemed to clear...but I am making a raised hood anyways since mine a hot rod. Might need a flatter air aftermarket air cleaner, but those are available. Let me know if you need the number. My plans are dual quad or dual plane intake. Hope that helps.
