MEL engine

i pulled down my motor and i thougt it was a 430, but the pistons have EGD 4.3 on them that means it's a 383ci but the crankshaft has EDF on it??? i do know that EDG is a 383 & EDJ is a 430, so could anyone tell me what a EDF is. thanks

Pretty sure that is a 410 Edsel

EDF has to be unique (not EDSEL).

The 383 had a stroke of 3.30" while both the 410 and 430 had a stroke of 3.70".

The bore size of the 383 and 430 is the same.
