I want to put a remote filter on my car and run the line through a cooler.. im looking at the perma cool adapters that say they fit 98% of the cars out there... and then they have some manufaturer specific adapters... is the mel filter and say the fe filters or the 460 filters the same?? Cause the have a FORD V8 unit but im not sure if this will fit my motor??

I have an oil cooler adapter that fits a 302 ford spin-on. It fits mel oil filter neck perfectly. Can't tell you who made it, (really old) but it is made in USA. I suspect any Ford adapter that uses standard Ford oil filter will work. TJR
